The Hound (2023) was a film made entirely by myself with just my phone and a microphone. Issued with the task of making a 60 second film with a phone, I gave myself the extra task of working with an animal on film, something I had wanted to try experimenting with for a while. I had heard about the difficulties that come with working with animals on film, but I had confidence that I could produce something at least adequate with my dog. Another task that came from working with an animal was having to tell a narrative without any dialogue. Overall, I had a lot of fun making this short, and would be interested in producing something similar with the knowledge I have gained since.
