An entry to the Sony X BFI film day, in which we were given Sony cameras and equipment to make a short film in a few hours. Everything from the film's plot to the props and lights had to be made or acquired in the few hours we had. This was the main challenge that makes me proud of the project and what we were able to achieve as a small group of young filmmakers. As for the film itself, It's definitely very strange. Rather than thinking of the film beforehand, a lot of the film was planned and performed on the spot as a group, so giving us roles for this film isn't exactly pragmatic. To me, this is quite evident in the film's pacing and flow being so random. Despite this, over time I have grown to see the film as an experimental and interpretive piece, and many people I have shown the film like it for the comedic elements and unexpected moments. It was also a great experience to make with the assistance of a company like Sony and BFI.
