The Surrey Job (2024) was a big step up for me in terms of production and crew. A lot of people worked on this film compared to my previous projects and it was a very collaborative project. It was a great learning experience to be involved in such an important part of this production and understanding a shared vision through communication, and clear direction. This was my first time being a Script Supervisor as well, which was a role I felt aided my role as editor during post production, being able to see the takes play out in front of me and take notes that I felt were important and best suited for the film when it came to editing. This was also the first time I worked very closely with the sound department during post production, keeping constant connection during the stage of production to optimize the final edit and make the film good quality visually and auditory.
